(Fire Information for Resources Management System) from NASA, Greenline tracks any fire outbreaks that may occur in areas of interest.
Indigenous Area
Greenline does not allow the use of land areas that overlap any indigenous lands, therefore through the FUNAI Monitoring Portal, the overlap of the property with two Indigenous Areas (Lago do Marinheiro and Rio Jumas) is demonstrated here.
PIGMENTATION ANALYSIS
CARBON SEQUESTRATION POTENTIAL
This area has a high potential for generating carbon credits, due to the significant existing forest density, characterized by the presence of Dense Ombrophilous Forest and Open Ombrophilous Forest. The main purpose of this report is to serve as a proof of concept. Based on the information provided to Greenline and in accordance with the technical requirements for the implementation of a carbon credit generation project, this area, in its current state, would not be technically eligible due to the overlap with indigenous lands. However, if the absence of such overlap is proven through the geographic coordinates contained in the property registration, the area would be suitable for starting the aforementioned project.
