FIRMS
Through the FIRMS (Fire Information for Resources Management System) platform by NASA, Greenline monitors any occurrence of wildfires that might take place in the areas of interest.
The land areas currently show no history of fires up to the present date.
Indigenous Area
Greenline does not allow the use of land areas that overlap with any indigenous lands. Therefore, through the FUNAI Monitoring Portal, it is demonstrated and proven that the land areas do not overlap with indigenous lands.
Deforestation Monitoring
Greenline monitors imminent deforestation risks as well as the occurrence of deforestation if it arises. We use a GIS platform (Geographic Information System) where we slice the area into 50m x 50m quadrants for more secure monitoring. Any changes within a single quadrant will be identified immediately.
